Outstanding offensive guard and tackle on the undefeated Cherokee Team of 1959 and 1960. All S.P.A.L., All Northern California, and North Sbrine Football Team 1961. Played tackle at U.S.C. 1962-63-64 and earned All Conference Honors. Later that year started for Oakland Raiders and two years with New York Jets. Business career and teacher, then inducted in the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame in 1991.
