Member of 11 honor teams as a Sequoia athlete, joined Cherokee coaching staff upon graduation from San Jose State. Coached tennis (27 years), badminton, softball and volleyball; badminton teams won six league championships; four girls' CCS doubles titles. One of the country's most distinguished senior tennis players; consistently ranked among U.S. top five since 1970; Number One nationally in 55-over women's doubles (1994). Currently in U.S. top three, 65-over doubles, and regional top five, senior team tennis. A casual (12-handicap) golfer, as well.
