Unbeaten and North Coast Section diving champion in 1952 and 1953 and named All-America both years. Sequoia’s 1953 swimming team was NCS champion. Also was part of two championship water polo teams, with 1953 team undefeated and ranked No. 1 in California. Earned a full scholarship to the University of Michigan.
